Wedding Ceremony Music

Whether you are planning a traditional church wedding or something a little different it’s important to think about what music you would like to accompany your day! Live music is the perfect way to compliment your wedding ceremony and set the tone for the day.

Choose pieces of music that mean something to you and your other half. Lyrics that remind you of each other, or a song that marks an event in your relationship, something that brings a tear to your eye or simply something about love!

This photo was taken at my brother’s wedding, I don’t usually wear fascinators 😀

There are millions of songs out there to choose from and it can get a little overwhelming. Whatever you do, don’t let these decisions get to you! Keep wedding ceremony music in the back of your head for a while, your subconscious will do a lot of the work for you! Simply make a note of song that maybe you heard on the radio or on TV. Have a look online, there are so many lists out there you’re bound to recognise a few just by skimming through one. For example here is an article that lists 67 options for the bridal entrance.

Once you have made up your own list of songs that your considering that’s when you can start thinking about where to place them in your ceremony. Don’t forget your musician or singer should be able to help you. Don’t be afraid to ask for their advice, that’s their job!
